I was meant to spend the day making the orders I took yesterday at the fair but we were the victims of road rage this morning and it really upset my whole day. My husband was putting our son in to his car seat in the car park when the car that was parked in the bay next to us started reversing out of her spot. As our door was open she drove into it but didn't squash my husband as she wasn't going fast. On winding down her window she launched into a stream of abuse and her husband got out of the passenger side and started swearing at us too! No word of apology for having been such a crap driver that she drove into us. I know there are horrible people in the world but to be on the receiving end of such a vile and vitriolic outburst left me shaking and shocked. Luckily the children were in the car and my husband had the presence of mind to shut the door so they were not in the firing line, nobody was hurt and the car was fine.
It really made me think about not knowing what people were like, they looked quite ordinary but turned out to be total scroats.Makes me want to keep the children here, at home safe from all the oddballs out there.
Well, time for a hot bath and a glass of wine, I'm sure it'll all look better in the morning.
