Isn't the arrival of summer wonderful, life has a happier feel, people smile more and meals eaten outdoors seem more enjoyable.
The first crop from the allotment! Luckily the slugs didn't spot the strawberries! Some goosberries and pea tops, delish! I'm struggling to get down there often enough to water but am happy to accept some losses and smaller onions than my neighbours! There are only so many hours in the day and I want to enjoy my visits there rather than it becoming a chore.
