Look what came through the letterbox
which can only mean that Christmas must be on the way! I don't mind when it a Cath Kidston or Toast brochure. Aztec or Pedlars are good too but all these brochures seem to be selling the same things, must have gone to the same trade fairs to choose their lines. One offers personalised items, bath towels with my name on - how handy!!
Jo has her planning down to a fine art, I'm a list lover as you know but she takes it to another level.Brocante Home is also getting in the mood with some lovely ideas for creating the sort of Christmas you enjoy. I have of course started a list, this one is presents, what I'm making or buying for family and friends, with a few stalls booked too I felt I need to know how much stitching needs doing. The tricky bit about the fairs I've booked is that they are close together and as I've not done the first one yet I don't know what (if anything!) will sell well so I'm not sure how much to make. Ah well if things don't sell the Christmas presents will be sorted!
Happily I've made my first Etsy sales! Alice at Tea in my cup has been doing some Christmas shopping so I'm really pleased. Thanks Alice.
I know it's a bit early for Christmas talk when we haven't even had Halloween or Bonfire Night yet. We're off to buy a couple of pumpkins from the farm this weekend ready for carving, hope you have a lovely weekend too.
