Christmas arrived early in the studio as we held the first of our range of Christmas workshops. It was a riot of red & green fabric, of gingham & ribbon and of chat & laughter. The perfect start to the Christmas season.

As part of the range of workshops building on sewing machine skills we are having a bunting making class on Tuesday 15th November 7.30 - 9.30. You'll make a string of 10 jolly pennants over 2m long, just right to brighten up your room. Don't worry if you don't have a sewing machine you can use mine! Join Debbie Tomkies of DT Craft & Design for a dyeing taster session and see how easy it is to create fabulous, one of a kind yarns. With Debbie's expert guidance you'll dye enough yarn to make a lovely lacy scarf. Debbie will be providing everything you'll need and you can take away one of her designer scarf patterns to knit a scarf for you or for a friend - a perfect Christmas gift!
Come and join us on Tuesday 4th October at 7.30 for a relaxing hand sewing class. With a few simple stitches you will learn to make a perfect pincushion and a sweet needle case for your sewing basket. No more hunting round for a needle, they'll be safe in your handmade needle case. Even if you are a novice sewer you'll be delighted with your handmade goodies. All materials are provided along with some cake to keep your creative juices flowing!

We are also launching our Cupcake Birthday Parties. Your Birthday Girl can invite her friends and get pink and sparkly decorating yummy cupcakes then take them home in a lovely box. Between 6 - 10 guests can enjoy a 90 minute party. £13 per person with 4 boxed cupcakes to take home.
