Coniston

Before life went pear shaped we had a lovely time in the Lakes during the second week of half term.CIMG2393

We stayed right next to Lake Coniston at a super wooded site with glades for pitching, where the children could go off exploring and have far more freedom than usual.CIMG2402

Such lovely pictures and the cottgae is so sweet and charming, it looks like a good time was had by all. Being in nature can be so soothing for the soul and so much fun all at the same time. Hope you're doing well.

Your pictures are so beautiful that it is almost enough to make me consider my ban on outdoor vacations. As a city girl I am so committed to not getting to close to nature...LOL

Lovely pics, I love the lakes- did you go camping, if so where was the site?

Great photos. I loved the den - it made me think of Swallows and Amazons.

That looks like such a great get away. I would love to live in one of those chocolate box houses too.
